A Lovely Day Out at Kishine Koen with Kai

The other day, I took Kai to Kishine Koen — a charming park located about a 20-minute drive from our house. The weather was unexpectedly warm for this time of year, hitting around 23°C, which is quite rare, especially considering the forecast was predicting snow later in the week! It felt like a perfect little gift from nature to enjoy some sunshine and fresh air. Kishine Koen is a wonderful spot, especially if you’re looking for a family-friendly place to unwind. The park features a beautiful duck pond where you can watch ducks paddling peacefully, which Kai absolutely loved. There’s also a sandpit where kids can dig and build, perfect for little hands full of energy and imagination. What really stood out was the adventure playground — a fantastic area packed with slides, climbing frames, and swings that kept Kai busy and entertained for hours.
